## Prerequisites:
- Proficiency in Survival or Proficiency in Nature,
- Be considered Fey (possibly via a [[Fey Charms]]), or be a Ranger
+1 to an attribute of choice
A character with Affinity for the Wild may make a Survival check to navigate in the wild. Each day of travel, the character makes a check against a DC determined by the DM.
- Success means the day of travel brings the character closer to the desired destination
- Failure means no progress
- Critical failure means becoming confused: no progress, and a higher DC the next day
- Critical success means finding strong indicators: a lower DC the next day
Navigation to a place relies on [sympathetic connections](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sympathetic_magic) to that place. The degree of sympathy and the nature of the place sought determine the DC for the check
Total time and DCs are determined by the DM.
